Meet Emily
Emily is a former Corporate America professional who left that world to immerse herself with preschoolers and picture books. As someone involved in special education, and a neurodiverse mother to a child with disabilities, she is especially passionate about writing fun, accessible stories that delight and engage early childhood readers and families.
Emily lives outside of Chicago, Illinois with her husband and two daughters. She is an avid runner, hiker, and coffee drinker. She’s happiest spending time with family, or on the Great Lakes and exploring Northern Michigan.

Emily has run 5 marathons and was a collegiate swimmer for four years
